Biography |
Good day to you all, Thank you for visiting my page and thank you very much for sponsoring me i'm really pleased at the amount raised so far and still hoping to make it to £1000 so please give what you can. Please read my latest blog for all that I went through :) CURRENT STATUS: "Nackered and stiff but very pleased with myself" It's all over and I WON the indivdual catagory, Woo Hoo Why I got involved When I was 6, my family lost Lucy, my cousin, a beloved daughter, granddaughter and niece. She died at the age of almost 5 ½ of a very rare form of childhood cancer called neuroblastoma. CLIC were there for her and the family all the way through from diagnosis, and there support was essential to making a horrible situation bearable. Since then we have tried to repay their kindness with some of our own through fund raising, and varying levels of ongoing involvement. With one in 3 people nationwide being effected by cancer or leukemia we can all understand how hard it much be to cope with this disease and how much harder it must be when children are involved.
